Linda's Story

Linda’s Lingerie was established to cater for the needs of all women, no matter what size or shape they are, who find it impossible to buy a bra that fits them where they need the bra to fit, to be comfortable, supportive and pretty.

Linda Jobson has been sewing since she was 9 years old, and owned a fabric shop in Sydney from 1980-1983, where she taught stretch sewing techniques.  This proved to be the foundation Linda needed when she was asked to teach bra making classes in Brisbane back in 1992.  Teaching how to sew a bra was easy, the big challenge was in the fitting.  So was born the idea of making made-to-measure bras.

Linda provides her personalised fitting service from the comfort and privacy of her home in Regents Park, south of Brisbane.  No-obligation appointments are available:

• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Saturday 9.30am – 4.30pm
• After hours appointments are available Monday – Wednesday and Friday.

Appointments take approximately ½ hour and a $50 cash deposit is required.

Be Gorgeous is a non-profit organisation based in Australia but working with partners around the world. We partner with established organisations operating in different nations by helping fund projects that help change women’s lives and, as a result, bring about change in their communities. Our goal is to come alongside and financially support these organisations in projects whose primary focus is training and equipping women for the long-term, rather than just solving short term needs.

Every woman should be able to experience the confidence of knowing that they look good and feel good in proper fitting bras, which are made to their individual requirements.
